For the korean BBQ spiced beef lettuce wraps
steps
Let’s make it
Step 1
In a large bowl, mix the ground beef thoroughly with the entire sachet of Korean BBQ blend.
Step 2
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 3
Add the seasoned beef to the skillet and cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned and cooked through (about 8-10 minutes).
Step 4
Add the finely diced carrots and zucchini to the beef. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
Step 5
Stir in the soy sauce and rice vinegar. Cook for another minute, then remove from heat.
Step 6
While the beef is cooking, steam the edamame according to package instructions.
Step 7
Wash and separate the lettuce leaves.
Step 8
To serve, spoon the beef mixture into individual lettuce leaves.
Step 9
Garnish each wrap with sliced radishes, chopped peanuts, and cilantro leaves.
Step 10
Serve with the steamed edamame on the side.
Step 11
Optionally, provide small dishes of additional Korean BBQ blend for those who want extra seasoning.
Step 12
Note: Adjust the vegetable quantities to your preference. For a spicier version, add some gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) or sriracha sauce to taste.
